This is what I did to solve the above issue and I'm sharing this for those who have same issue and are lost on what to do.

Once you login to the admin panel, go to Settings -> Preference -> Security and Protection. Under the Security and Protection menu, change the default choice from SESSIONS to COOKIES then Save the changes. That should keep you logged in as an admin till you're done with your site setup.

NOTE: in the event you're logged out, ensure to keep logging in till you make this change and successfully.

Correct, it was a reported issue, a fix was made, and by ugrade it should be fine. ( github development).
