forum.php?new is showing the table, but not the posts within it after upgrading from 1.x to 2.2.1

If your forum update was not suscesful, then forum plugin will not work. Solve first problem at first. The best way is to ask for help via gitter. Be sure you are using 2.3.0 git version, there were som fixes related to this.
