Please in English:
In short: both things are old coded, to use site menu (sitelinks or page menu? ) not sure what is needed here. needs the e107 helper plugin to be installed. Mentioned is similar things that can do the same. Either using page_menu or use the sitelinks template pointing to sidebar etc. There are even more menus that could do the same.
The old ones are no longer supported and need upgrades to use the newer coding (php sql etc..).

Hope is does clearify a little, success

Bugrain used to program his e107 (v0.6/0.7) plugins with a certain 'shared' functionality. So in order to make his plugins work, this generic Helper plugin was needed. Advance was that all of his plugins used the same 'shared' functionality so he was able to remain his plugins relatively small and he didn't had to develop things twice or hand out redundant code.

His website is gone but the domain is still there, unfortunately his latest page bugrain.com shows it's in Wordpress and I don't think he's active for e107 any longer. Maybe if you contact Bugrain through his website he might help you out on a version of the e107 Helper Project plugin. As answered by tgtje earlier: this will definitely not be suited for a e107 v2 website though.

CaMeRon moved this plugin to the official repository

So it should be maintained by him.
