How do I block the news category COUNT from being displayed? [closed]

I am in the process of setting up a new site on e107 v.2.2.1

I am using the News_menu_category in a side bar on the Basic theme.

I want to TEMORILY block the count of News items and simply display the Category links in this menu. Is it possible to do this and if so, where would I find the file that needs to be changed.

Use your custom news menu template in your theme and remove shortcode responsible for displaying counts {NEWS_CATEGORY_NEWS_COUNT}
